Andrew Duffy
Founder & Owner, Head Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor
Andrew's Bio
ATC, CPT, B.S. Double Major in Health Science & Athletic Training, Owner & Founder D.U.F.F. Andrew grew up in Trumbull, CT as he played sports year-round including baseball, football and soccer. He made a big leap to head south so that he could pursue his love of baseball, sports medicine and exercise science. Guilford College in Greensboro, NC became his new home and soon he graduated with a double major in Health Science and Athletic Training. Here at Guilford, he played four years as a varsity baseball player, as he excelled to make all state, and all region. He still currently plays in the Charleston Men’s Adult Baseball League. Andrew is both a nationally certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Training Association (N.A.T.A.), as well as a certified Personal Trainer. He has been personal and group training for over 18 years now in Charleston, South Carolina and he has loved every minute of it! Andrew thrives off of the tremendous results that his clients have gotten over the years, and he takes great pride in both changing the shapes of their bodies, as well as their lives for the better. He specializes in weight loss, functional exercise, nutrition, athletic training, sports performance, rehabilitation, & Olympic Lifting. You can find Andrew instructing throughout the group fitness schedule at DUFF as well as coaching his personal training clients. He has been personal training for 19 years now! Andrew recentley competed in a world-wide workout competition and was ranked in the top 1% (out of over 6500 athletes) in the entire Southeast Region. His favorite sports teams are Notre Dame, NY Giants, & NY Mets. He is married to fellow trainer and c0-owner Anna Duffy, and they have a beautiful daughter together named Holden.

Anna Duffy

Anna's Bio
CPT, B.S. Anna Duffy is a cerified personal trainer through NCCPT, holds a dotFit certification, and is a Weight and Management Specialist. She is a Charleston native, attended First Baptist dowtown, and received a B.S. from Appalachian State University. Anna has always been a sports enthusiast. She played volleyball, basketball, softball, and track through high school. At age 11, Anna was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes and at age 30 was diagnosed with Graves disease, but this has never stopped her from attaining her goals. She believes “I control my diabetes; it does not control me”! She uses this as motivation to compete in local exercise competitions. Anna wants to share with her clients that if there is a will, there is a way. With her motivation, enthusiasm and knowledge of the fitness industry, she will make sure her clients reach their goals. Her biggest thrill is seeing the smiles on her clients’ faces when they achieve their first pullup, lose 5 pounds, drop 2% body fat, run a sub 8 minute mile, flip the big tire, or completing their first workout session at DUFF. Her clients are her friends, and she wants them to know that she is with them every step of the way. If Anna is not at DUFF gym, you can find her at home playing with their one year old daughter, Holden, or walking her dog Boone. She and Andrew have been married for 7 years now, but started the DUFF adventure 8 years ago. They have created this wonderful family environment at DUFF and feel so blessed to be surrounded by Charleston’s best trainers who treat DUFF as if it is their own.

Eli Goldstein
Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor
Eli's Bio
CPT, B.S. Eli is a certified personal trainer through AFAA. He was born in Nashville, TN, spent his young childhood there and then moved to Israel when he was 7. He lived there from age 7-14, and then moved to south Florida as a freshman in high school. Eli always had a passion for exercising, being active, and playing sports. In high school, he played basketball, soccer, and water polo. After graduating high school he went straight into culinary school to follow his passion for food. After he finished school, he then proceeded to get his bachelors degree in hospitality management in order to operate his own business someday and have basic management skills. After 8 years in the food & beverage industry, his passion for exercise and the human body grew greater everyday. He also realized that the two industries tie in to each other BIG TIME with healthy eating, and clean recipes and preparation methods, and your final results/success. Enter Charleston, SC… WHAT YOU EAT + HOW YOU EXERCISE = HEALTH Eli’s passion for health, wellness, and fitness pours out of him every minute of everyday. His motivation and accountability to his clients is what keeps them coming back and producing results. Outside of the DUFF gym, Eli really enjoys spending time with his 6 year old son, Lian, his 3 year old daughter Elsie and his beautiful wife Alyssa. Eli has been an integral part of DUFF’s success and his enthusiasm is contagious everyday here at the gym! Eli has been with DUFF for over 9 years!

Madison Leslie

Madison's Bio
Madison is an NASM (National Acadamy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer. She moved from Detroit Michigan to Charleston, SC at the age of 18 shortly after graduating high school. She not only found her passion in fitness but aspires to be the motivation she once was driven by. She dedicated her time to training herself while studying and learning every mechanism of the human body. When she realized the confidence and strength she could help her clients to achieve not only through fitness but day to day life, was when she realized her desire to pursue her career further.
Madison specializes in corrective exercise science, functional fitness, as well as performance and physique training. Madison enjoys doing yoga and working out in her free time in hopes to be able to compete in a body building competition someday in the near future!

Steve Scrocchi
Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor
Steve's Bio
Steve was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He received his B.S. in Health and Wellness with a concentration in Adult Fitness from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo State. After working at a local Buffalo gym for six years, Steve opened his own training studio. After eight successful years as an owner, Steve sold his share of the business and moved to sunny South Carolina with his beautiful wife Mercedes.Steve’s passion for exercise and fitness began at a young age through his love for playing lacrosse and football. He quickly realized the work he put in the weight room paid off on the field. In college, he started competetively bodybuilding. In 2021, he became a professional bodybuilder through O.C.B. organization. Over the years, Steve has also competed in several powerlifting meets and completed fifteen Tough Mudders.Steve’s passion for the job comes from meeting many different people and tailoring workouts to meet their goals. He believes that the job is much more than a number on a scale– It is about helping people be their best versions of themselvess, feel stronger, and feel healthier.Through Steve’s years of experience, he has had the privilege of training a variety of people from elementary school age to geriatric, different body types, variety of physical and mental ailments, division 1 athletes to the everyday person. Steve’s adaptability motivates his clients through workouts and his success is measured in his previous clients. Steve has been training for over 14 years and still falls in love with the job every day.He lives on Isle of Palms with Mercedes, their beagle, and three cats. His favorite sports teams are the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Bandits and the Oregon Ducks. You can find him exploring the beaches and area reataurants on the weekends.
